Sound of Rushing Air
At the front of the unit, you may
hear the sound of rushing air
being moved by the fan
High Pitched Chatter
High efficiency compressors
may have a high pitched chatter
during the cooling cycle.
Gurgle/Hiss
Gurgling or hissing noise may
be heard due to refrigerant
passing through evaporator
during normal operation.
Pinging or Switching
Droplets of water hitting condenser
during normal operation may cause
pinging or switching sounds.
Before you begin, thoroughly familiarize yourself with the control panels as shown below and all
its functions, then follow the symbol for the functions you desire. The unit can be controlled
by the unit control alone or with the remote.
Vibration
Unit may vibrate and make noise
because of poor wall or window
construction or incorrect installation.

CONDICIONES DE OPERACION:
PROBLEMA SOLUCIÓN
Agua goteando POR FUERA cuando
la unidad está enfriando.
• La unidad está retirando una gran cantidad de humedad de una
habitación húmeda. Esto es normal durante días excesivamente húmedos.
El sensor remoto se desactiva prematuramente
(sólo algunos modelos)
• La temperatura de la habitación está por debajo de los 17°C (62° F).
No puede comenzar el enfriamiento hasta que la temperatura de la
habitación sea superior a los 17° C (62° F).
• El control remoto está fuera de rango. Coloque el control remoto
máximo a 20 pies y con un radio de 180° al frente de la unidad
• La señal del control remoto está obstruida. Retire la obstrucción.
La habitación está demasiado fría.
• Se ha jado una temperatura muy baja.
Incremente el ajuste de temperatura.
RUIDO EN TONO ALTO
Los compresores de alta eciencia
pueden tener un ruido en tono alto
durante el ciclo de enfriamiento.
VIBRACIÓN
La unidad puede vibrar y hacer ruido
debido a un muro ligero, la construc-
ción de la ventana o a una instalación
incorrecta.
HACIENDO PING O CONMUTANDO
Las gotas de agua que caen en el con-
densador durante la operación normal
pueden causar sonidos de ping-ping o
de conmutación.

En la parte frontal de la unidad se
puede llegar a escuchar el ruido de
ráfagas de aire que está siendo movido
por el ventilador.
